Education Improvement Tax Credit -- CALL TO ACTION

Under these trying economic times, the Pennsylvania Legislature is considering reducing the opportunities for the children and businesses who utilize the Education Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program.

As our elected officials examine the need to resolve the current budget deficit, there is talk about reducing the EITC credit ceiling from $75 million to $30 million (a reduction of $35 million).

We need to restore funding for this program

Schools, businesses and interest groups from around the Commonwealth are rallying against this reduction – a reduction from a successful program – a program that works in Pennsylvania.
